The Design Process

    Discovery

    We kick off the process with a questionnaire and call so that I am completely clear on your business and website goals. I then create a strategy for your website design to help achieve these.

    The Wireframe

    The next step is the wireframe stage where I design the blueprint of your website. Using your content and the strategy I outlined in the discovery stage I design a mock-up homepage which is then presented to you. After you have signed off on the style of the website we move on to the build stage.

    The Build

    The build stage is where the wireframe is brought to life and becomes an actual website. I make sure that every little detail is just right using custom coding and that your website looks great on every device.

    Getting Found

    A big part of having a website that attracts and converts visitors is SEO. I make sure that your site is easily found on search engines and ranks highly, through several SEO tried and tested techniques.

  • Whilst I can choose colours and fonts for your website, having a dedicated brand identity will help align your business and help leave a lasting impression on your dream clients.

  • Generally, payments are broken into two or three parts, depending on the timeline. There is a 35% non-refundable deposit that needs to be paid upfront in order to secure your booking and the remainder can be paid in one or two equal payments during the project. If you need a different payment timescale please ask and I’ll try to accommodate you.

  • No. All deposits are non-refundable as it is my way of securing your spot in the queue. I book projects several months ahead of time, and scheduling ensures that I give all of my clients the proper amount of time that a project deserves. As a result, I turn away clients for your reserved time slot. If you back out of the project, you may leave an empty spot that could have been given to another project. The deposits ensure that clients are serious about moving forward with the project.

  • Yes, I can provide additional services such as extra web pages, SEO services, e-commerce set-up, scheduling tool integration or sales page builds. Please enquire for more details.

  • No, I don’t offer a copywriting service but I do provide a workbook with tips on how to write good web copy as well as a guide for what to include in each section of the website. I can also provide recommendations for copywriters.

  • Yes, for my existing clients I offer an hourly or monthly rate for website maintenance. For more information please enquire.

  • No, I only build on Squarespace and Shopify as I believe these sites offer great features, beautiful site results, and unrivaled security plus allow businesses to update their own sites if they wish.

    As a Squarespace Circle Member it also allows me to pass on some great benefits to my clients such as:

    • An extended six-month website trial period before payment instead of the usual two weeks.
